The art of - tea rituals

  • By attuning to our sound, that which is pure awareness, nothingness - we are able to discern what our body needs - what herb calls out to us and wants to be awoken - activated

  • In a time where

  • Our minds are constantly bombarded with information - drowned out with food, processed, toxic goods that when we are able to return to the stillness of tea rituals, we are able to touch a deeper part of ourselves, of the plant of earth that brings us into present awareness.

  • How to know - which herb to consume
I first come into pure harmony with nature - with my tune
    Here I feel

    Moon.
    Thus I gravitate towards
What my soul needs to consume.

“Medicine is anything that puts you in harmony with the Dao and all life on this Earth”. - Tea Medicine

Medicine is not necessarily a plant - it is the harmony with spirit and with ones soul.

Without first coming into contact with your own inner harmony, tune, rhythm it can be hard to discern what is required. Honouring the sacred tea leaves - is an act of translating the wisdom that it bestows unto us and allowing this to infuse into our bodies and seep into spirit.

Tea cleanses our mind - activates and awakens the herb to move through us - and when our bodies are in a state of fasting, for a day or two - the potency this medicine can bring is powerful.

Tea as a teacher, also has the power to flush out illusions held inside of us, helping us to see earth as she truly is, in harmony with her views and most importantly to see nature - as a liquid, living breathing being, fully conscious and aware.

Each food that we consume has a degree of awareness and of consciousness.
When we partake in consuming anything, we are allowing our consciousness to match the energy of that which we devour. Mindlessly and unconsciously, we often consume not aware of what we are taking in, the information this is giving to our cells and the effect it has on our state of being.

When consuming herbs - the most potent and pure medicine on the planet - in liquid form as a ritual, we engage and awaken the dormant spirit of each plant herb to move through us, charging and activating in ways that food can not. Of how it activates emotions, clears unwanted memories, teaches our body how to dance and flow with natures rhythms.

Our mind are constantly flooded with so much information that we are unable to hear the silent language of our bodies.
Tea rituals enable us to open to the world of plant spirits, to commune in a way that allows our subconscious to come forth, to allow our subtle energy fields to open and to learn the wisdom of fluidity movement in various ways that the teachings of tea brings.
